Life - Monday

I have started another blog DESIGNS BY TRACY for everything related to My Digital Scrapping Designs, it will be a blog for keeping you updated on whats happening at Scrap Artist, My New Releases and as I get organised a few freebies. I will be keeping this blog as it is my daily diary. Anyhow I hope you enjoy the new blog and that you continue to enjoy this one :)

Michael fixed the lawn today, with all the rain we have been enduring, the lawns are slush.
They are badly in need of a mow, but are just too wet.

He also cooked dinner for everyone with the exception of me, I had left over Hangi from last night and it was still good. He made American Hot Dogs.

Life - Sunday

What an exciting weekend! With my debut at Scrap Artist, being better than I ever anticipated. Nancie has been absolutely fantastic. She has been so supportive. It is amazing being back at Scrap Artist in this capacity.

I have been photographing and scanning today, and snapped this shot of Ali in the process.

Walter does Sunday night dinners in our home and tonight was exceptional, I think it was more timing on his part LOL, our friend Willy puts a hangi down every so often, so Walter got some for us... better than a takeaway anyday!

And yes! I managed to put that entire plateful away :)

Life - Friday Night

Dinner tonight...

Tomato and Herb Lamb Shanks
with carrot, parsnips & onions

This was my first plateful! It was yummy.

Life Thursday & Friday

I can't believe it is Friday already! I spent all of yesterday head down bum up, repackaging my products, and uploading them to my new stores FTP! I had to learn X Cart in a hurry which was no easy feat, in the end relying on a friend and yahoo to explain things to me.
THANK YOU HUN!!!

Anyhow my new store has just opened for business with 25% off this weekend, I am so excited. I spent a year on the Creative Team at this store, and made some awesome friends, some who still don't know I am back.....
To see my new store click HERE

Today the kids and I went out to Albany for a wander, we popped into Pumpkin Patch and Christopher was instantly drawn to this shirt...

Yep it is red, but it has a hood and grey knit long sleeves attached to it :) I don't know if it will take priority over his favorite shirt which Uncle Dave & Aunty Kym bought him a few years ago (you can see that shirt in Wednesdays Photo). He thrashes that one.

Whilst I was working at the computer on Thursday evening, Walter and our little kids were creating art and lots and lots of mess LOL

To My Digi Friends,
Thank you so much for your support and your incredible messages,
You are all truly amazing!

Life - Wednesday

It has been a long long day, I arose at 5am to watch the MJ Memorial Concert, just me all by myself, everyone else slept peacefully. Then the day just got busier and busier. I am presently preparing my kits for my new store. I am so excited! I managed to get all the previews done and got a fair few uploaded. So tomorrow I will concentrate on the shop side of things, ready to open :) I can't wait to share my new home with you.

It was an overcast day, but it didn't stop the kids getting outside for some cool crisp air!

Christopher, Michael and Daniel playing line outs :)
Later in the day they all got out there...

Life - Wednesday

It is with great sadness that this morning, I have had to say Good Bye to Pixel Canvas and all my friends there. Due to Vinnie restructuring, I have sought out and located a new store where my designs will be available very soon!

Life - Tuesday

I had to go to the supermarket to pick up some mushrooms which we pay for by there weight and as I was selecting my mushrooms I was laughing at myself.
My mum taught me when buying mushrooms to break the stalks of as it makes them weigh less lol. So I was quietly standing there breaking the stalks off the mushrooms LAUGHING!

I came home and thoroughly enjoyed the mushrooms with steak, eggs, chips, onions and tomatoes! Yummy Dinner.

Joshua is thoroughly enjoying himself in Tokoroa with Nana & Poppa. He rang to ask if we were going to watch the MJ Memorial which is being screened here live at 5am tomorrow morning.

Life - Monday

Joshua went to Tokoroa this morning, Every holiday he choses to go and stay with his Nana & Poppa.. so this morning I took him into the city so he could catch the bus. He was beside himself with excitement. The bus left Auckland at 9am and arrived in Tokoroa at 12.40pm where Nana was waiting for him. I got texts from him during most of the journey as he passed through the different towns on the route.

The rest of us went and did a huge grocery shop and stocked up the cupboards so there is now plenty to eat. We went to the new Pak N Save Supermarket, but in future I will stick to our local.

Michael can never have a quiet moment on the couch, he always gets ambushed by the little kids. He loves it LOL.

I found this awesome tutorial on turning photos into watercolour on the web, so played with the rose using the tutorial...

Life - Saturday & Sunday

Over the past month or so I have been working with
Nelson @ Digital Print NZ
He has been creating software to be able to print 8 x 8 Hard Photo Cover Digital Scrapbooks especially for the NZ Digital Scrapbooker.

Check these out - on Friday I received Two 8 x 8 Photo Books from Nelson, one has slightly glossier pages. They are both absolutely top quality, and I will definitely be heading back to Nelson for future projects. The cost of the books is approx NZD$65. 00
I am absolutely thrilled that this is now available NZ.

Chris is so proud his tooth is finally growing.
I can't get enough of the bond between these two.

Life - Friday

SCHOOLS OUT!

School holidays are finally upon us. Although Christopher and Alexandria, haven't been back to school this week. I thought both were coming right today, but alas they have proved me wrong this evening.

We had beautiful weather today, so I got stuck in and cleaned. I moved all the fitness equipment and water blasted under the deck, it looks amazing :) and laundry - loads and loads of laundry. It is a rare thing a sunny day.

Michael returned home from the Bush this afternoon, he had me in fits of laughter telling me he got his socks wet on the first day so hung them out to dry, he left his backpack outside of his tent and the next morning everything was frozen LOL so he put his socks over his little camp cooker to thaw them out. Instead he lightly fried them. He has some pretty impressive blisters on his heels from tramping all day every day, but had a great time.

Jessica Sprague has a cool tutorial on Watercolours on her blog...
so I had a play :)

Life - Thursday

Alexandria and Christopher are both still unwell running high temperatures and coughing. Alexandria was complaining today of a sore stomach as well. It doesn't rain it pours!

Joshua bought this home from school yesterday, he is currently in Metal Extension Class and loves it...

Today when I collected him from school, he was wearing a silver medal, he had been participating in the North Harbour Tumbling Competition. His team came 2nd overall and he personally came 6th overall! We are all so proud of him :)

His certificates from today :)

We have had no news from Michael who has presently gone bush. He is due back tomorrow - I can only wonder how he is coping with his outdoor experience.
